Second heat- P3 from 10th.
Was 5th in points:

Despite his 17 years young, and at an age when most kids in Australia are not even allowed to drive a motor vehicle, Gio Scelzi just sizzled at Simpson Speedway on Saturday night, just missing out on the 1st place purse of $10,000 for the win. However the crowd were treated to some of the  best  Sprintcar  driving by Gio that they were ever likely to see, and  I saw old men  and veterans of the sport so excited by this young driver.

Later that night I asked if he was just a “good driver” , and they replied “no he’s a top bloke also” a great Australian compliment for one so young,

Once again Bernie Stuebgen from Indy Race Parts on his own FB page thanked  Domain Ramsay, Tim Fisher  from Indy Race Parts Australia and David Dickson for their help.
